We are so excited that Fun Kids Radio have recently created a weekly series with 10 minute long episodes, Badger and The Blitz. This story is based on our founder Nina, the Duchess of Hamilton and World War 2 which led to the creation of Ferne.
It is a story of love and hope, inspired by the real-life events of World War II.
When Jack’s dog and best friend Badger finds her life on the line, he must act fast to save her. An act of survival becomes an adventure, as they journey across war-torn London to find the one person who can help them. But when Jack is evacuated from the city, he’s alone once more until his love for Badger drives him back home to find his beloved friend. But has he arrived too late to save her?
This was funded by the Audio Content Fund and you can watch all the episodes on their website or watch live on Friday’s. This is a fantastic way to showcase the creation of Ferne and educate children on the vital work we do in a fun and positive way.
