Due to a global shortage in cat vaccinations, we find ourselves in a position where careful consideration is necessary for admissions. Stray cats and those with unknown vaccination history pose a higher risk to others in a cattery.
Maintaining a dense population of cats poses a higher risk to their health than being at home. The current scarcity of vaccinations exacerbates these risks. In light of these circumstances, we need to be mindful in order to protect the cats we already have as well as any future admissions.
If at all possible, we would urge anyone looking to place their cat in rescue to try and get their vaccinations up to date. Your understanding and cooperation in these challenging times are greatly appreciated.
